Batman™: Arkham Origins – Cold, Cold Heart Review

The temperatures are about to change drastically…

Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game

Some key points that this game add on has to offer:

  1. New Open World experience
  2. New gameplay
  3. New Campaign to partake in
  4. Brand new Super Villain
It’s time.

After the kidnapping of a GothCorp CEO by Mr. Freeze, you set out to bring him to justice! However, things take several unexpected turns as Batman learns the history and reasoning behind all of MT. Freeze’s actions.

A Epic Fight awaits…

The DLC is a standalone game mode, you select it from the main menu and then play it from there. So you can replay it as much as you wish, or spend your time searching every nook and cranny.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:

It might not seem like much, but this DLC does add quite a few hours of new gameplay for us to partake in. As one of Batman’s greatest villains, we will see Batman go up against the man whose heart is ice cold for all but one person.

Take that!

The greatest thing that we walk away with here is not taking down Mr. Freeze but seeing as how Batman decided not only to save the victims but the villain himself too. That is the essence of what it means to be a Hero, it is easy to kill a criminal, but saving one is an entirely different ball game, and this DLC showcases that beautifully.

More than worth its price tag.
