This DLC adds a new region onto the base game along with a new story line and numerous other content. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine only becomes accessible when you’ve reached a certain stage in the game.
It can also be chosen from the main menu and be played as a standalone variant.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine is the final DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it is here where our story with Geralt truly ends, sad as it is, it does go out with a bang and furthermore, it ties up all loose ends to a point, depending on you how you completed the base game.
You are summoned to the land of wine, the fantasy world of Toussaint, by royal decree of the Douche herself. A beast is plaguing the country, killing brutally and you are tasked to put a stop to this.
A royal reward is offered for the completion of this task; upfront payment, the deed to your own Vineyard, Corvo Bianco and once the contract is completed a hefty coin pouch. This Home is packed full of surprises and so much more, truly a great little spot to settle down and take it easy every now and then.
Meet old acquaintances whilst making some new ones. There are numerous new locations that you can explore and visit, some full of danger but the greater the danger the greater the loot. The land of Wine is full of adventure as well, numerous quests and contracts await you as well, including a rare creature species thought to be eradicated, a wight…
This may be just a DLC, however it is easily the size of a small game…. It has so much to offer that it will keep you busy for hours upon hours.
As before you have choices and depending on you make them, you can make this one great ending to an epic story….
