State Of Decay – Breakdown Review
Just when you thought the fun came to an end.
Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game
Some key points that this game add on has to offer:
- Endless Campaign mode.
- Score system.
- Choices here matter.
- Difficulty scale.
State of Decay – Breakdown offers a brand new Campaign mode for you to play in, and one of its main features is an Endless campaign so once more you can play this beauty to your hearts content.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
State of Decay – Breakdown offers a new and unique mechanic to the game. You start the game with just you and one other survivor, from there you either fall in with others or you slowly recruit to your own number until you can set up a home base.
This limits your choices in survivors adding to the challenge, Breakdown has a scoring system, you can complete challenges that reward you such as killing 50 Zombies with rifles, or 400 with a car door, numerous challenges await on a variety of Breakdown levels.
The aim here is to see how far you can get, as you set up your home base, you follow through with a few missions until you get the mission to scout an RV that is broken down somewhere, then you head there, fix it up and escape the valley, ending your campaign, you are then scored on the amount of Zombies you killed and items you scavenged.
The game ends and starts again with the RV broken down in a different location, now you are in the next Breakdown level, which is harder than the previous one; with survival being the main goal here.
Breakdown offers other goodies but that is for you to enjoy.
