Xbox Game Pass For January 2021
With Game Pass there is no loser! It is a win win everytime!
The time has come, 2021 has finally arrived and this is possibly the most anticipated year after the train wreck that was 2020.
Xbox Game Pass has decided to bring us some amazing games to start the year on the right note. There is some hardcore strategy, some Ninja platformer fun, add a little psychological horror, and a touch of Japanese Mafia for good measure.
This is a list of the games they have announced so far and it is our belief that there will be more added throughout the month.
Without further ado here are the games on offer for January 2021.
Killer Queen Black (5th of January):
Killer Queen Black, inspired by the hit arcade game, Killer Queen, let’s you fight for your hive with three ways to win. Will you claim your victory by hopping on the snail, hoarding berries, or wiping out the enemy’s queen?
Attack, fly, and stay alive. If you are playing queen, you’ll want to protect your hive and your workers. The responsibilities don’t stop there, having a strategy in place will be beneficial, but you’ll also need to be fluid and keen on your opposing team’s strategy.
Want responsibilities but rather hustle than dodge death? Workers excel in adaptability which makes them essential for carrying out game-winning objectives. Initially defenseless, workers collect berries and head to the hive, however, they can also boost their speed and become soldiers.
These transformed workers wield maces, swords, shields, and laser rifles, to quickly become deadly aggressors.
Cyber Shadow ( 26th of January):
The world has been taken over by synthetic lifeforms. A desperate plea for help sets Shadow on a journey to uncover what started the path to perpetual ruin. Slash through the techno hordes, leap past traps, and nimbly navigate the ruins of Mekacity. Only you can unlock the secrets to your clan’s ancient powers in Cyber Shadow, the quintessential Ninja Action game.
The Medium ( 28th of January) (Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X only):
Discover a dark mystery only a medium can solve. Travel to an abandoned communist resort and use your unique psychic abilities to uncover its deeply disturbing secrets, solve dual-reality puzzles, survive encounters with sinister spirits, and explore two realities at the same time.
The Medium is a third-person psychological horror game that features patented dual-reality gameplay and an original soundtrack co-composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski and Akira Yamaoka.
Wield unique psychic abilities reserved for those with the gift. Travel between the realities or explore them both at the very same time. Use the Out of Body experience to investigate places where your real-world self can’t go. Create energy shields and deliver powerful spirit blasts to survive the spirit world and its otherworldly dangers.
Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 Remastered (28th of January):
Celebrate Kazuma Kiryu’s saga with the beautifully remastered Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. With restored content and updated localization in 1080p and 60fps, experience the complete Yakuza collection on one console for the first time in history.
As always, carefully plan your time… Game Pass is about to make use of every minute you have…
